Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Olivia. Jan and Marie are such lovely people and were quick to respond to our needs/queries whether online or in person. We're so glad we chose to stay here as the home had so much character in its architecture/decor/furnishings and even dinnerware! We loved Marie's garden - full of exciting things to discover - olive, lemon, and pink peppercorn trees, herbs and an array of veggies bushes (though not currently in season, still fun to see). The surroundings were also so beautiful, serene and relaxing.
The location is great - with supermarkets and good restaurants within a few minutes drive. Most places we went/were looking to go were less than a 25min drive. We loved Tavira city centre and taking the little choo choo train to Tavira beach! All so charming and we hope to come back again soon.

We had such a wonderful time there at Jan & Marie’s place. The house is situated in a lovely and quiet place, far from the noise. We enjoyed the swimming pool with the magnificent view on the little Portuguese hills. Jan welcomed us warmly with a bottle of (excellent) red wine and also gave us very good tips to visit the region. Thank you very much!

The hosts were very nice and always easily accessible.
The house matched the description and offered everything you could wish for.
The best thing, however, is the location. Here you will find absolute peace and quiet and can enjoy the surroundings.

We are a family of 5 with 3 young children and we had a wonderful time in this cottage. Jan was a very responsive, discreet and friendly host. Our children also enjoyed the visits from Batman the cat. The cottage is well equipped, we didn't miss anything. The place is peaceful and relaxing and the garden is beautiful and well maintained. We recommend this place to stay.

We had a lovely stay, the property accommodated 6 adults easily. Plenty covered seating providing shade. Our hosts went over and beyond to make our stay 5 star.
Good restaurants we recommend Fora da Vila for tapas which is close by and nice beaches providing a light breeze on the hottest days. Santa Luzia being our favourite.

We had a nice and relaxing time with Marie and Jan. The accommodation is very quiet and Marie was very friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and highly recommend the accommodation!

We had a great time staying at Jan and Marie's beautiful house. The pool and views of the garden with the beautifully landscaped bed was great. We didn't miss anything and you can make many nice excursions from there. The immediate surroundings are also very nice for walking and running.

Our stay at Jan & Marie was perfect for family holidays. Lot of places to rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery, enjoyed the petanque court with the kids. The house is well equipped with everything you need and very confortable for 6 persons. Jan & Marie were really friendly and accommodating and gave us nice tips on what to discover in the neighborhood. definitely a place to come back to.
