We were very pleased with the place and also with the location. Internet was always available, which was important, as we partly also worked. The place was super cute and had Portuguese flair. Together with the pool you could also relax wonderfully. Jan & Marie are great, nice hosts. I can only recommend 😊

We had a truly wonderful stay at Olive Valley. Jan was a very friendly and helpful host. The Casa and surroundings were beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. The gardens and vegetable area are beautifully kept .and that view over the valley , sat with a glass of wine or a morning coffee, is one not to forget! The pool, a welcome spot to cool down after a day exploring the area and the Pétanque area was great fun! Olive Valley is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The beautiful town of Tavira is close and the beaches are excellent, especially Barril Beach that you access via a little train. Highly recommend a day trip to Carvoeiro and the Cliff/cave walk or boat ride.
We would love to return one day and so highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful time there at Jan & Marie’s place. The house is situated in a lovely and quiet place, far from the noise. We enjoyed the swimming pool with the magnificent view on the little Portuguese hills. Jan welcomed us warmly with a bottle of (excellent) red wine and also gave us very good tips to visit the region. Thank you very much!

There's something magical about Olive Valley... Jan and Marie have created a sweet spot between the hills and not far from the ocean. The almond trees are blooming, making it really lovely. It's hard to believe it's only just February. It has been a perfect escape! We got lucky with incredible sunrises and some warm days where we enjoyed the patio & the pool (for the brave ones ;-). Jan and Marie are the perfect hosts, there when you need them but also allowing you to enjoy the space. The space is perfect, clearly cared for, and put together with an eye for detail. What a gift. Thank you ♥️

We spent two weeks at Jan & Marie's place and couldn't have been more satisfied! It fit our family of five perfectly, we loved the cozy feel of the house and most of all the surrounding views. Absolutely breathtaking. Marie & Jan are super friendly, providing us with tips and recommendations throughout our stay. Besides swims in the pool, we also enjoyed playing boules in the garden. We highly recommend Olive Valley and look forward to coming back.

Very beautiful house with a splendid garden and nice views for the sunrise. Breakfast in the morning sun. Kitchen is well equipped. We really loved that place and would like very much to rent it next year again. Jan and Marie are very exceptional hosts and we would like to thank them for all their attention.
